Working directly with our clients, we look to understand their desires and wishes, but then take in the need and function of the space to create beautiful products. Each project is considered individual, so we start with a blank page to deliver a bespoke finish to each design, often making one off pieces of furniture.
We are proud of our team of skilled craftsmen and women who work with the same passion to deliver pieces that aim to exceed the expectations of our clients. Based in the renown area of upholstery, Long Eaton, our team follow many generations of upholstery producers. We have an on site frame work shop, so the pieces we create are made from start to finish.
Sofas, fixed seating, headboards and beds, curtains and soft furnishings. We work with partners to deliver other items of cabinet furniture and accessories.
Many of our projects to date have not just been in the design and creation of products for our clients, they have included a full installation service. Products such as fixed or booth seating are often completed on site due to the bespoke nature and other projects such as hotel suites have included the fitting of curtains as well as all items of furniture and soft furnishings.
A selection of projects...
Down in the cellars of the old work rooms at Belvoir Castle, the task was to work with the Duchess to transform this old dark and dank space into a vibrant and intimate Gin bar.
Working closely with renown Landscapist Jodie Lingard, we were elated to be invited to create some vibrant and fun pieces of furniture and cushions for use in the outdoor space of the Montessori childrens garden at the 2019 RHS Chelsea Flower show, for which the garden was awarded a gold.
As part of major face lift in the members and hospitality suites at Ascot racecourse, we were tasked to create and build a classic chair to sit within the new elegantly designed rooms. The project included executing the removal and installation of the 2500 units over the 6 floors of the main grand stand.
Prior to the covid lockdown, we had the pleasure of working along side the owners of the Bainland Country Park to create 2 x 24 birth exclusive holiday lodges, including 12 bedrooms, an open plan lounge featuring a 24 seat dining table, breakfast bar seating area and a whopping 6.5m long single piece feature sofa, a library and boot room in each.
The Red Lion is a stunning country pub set in the beautiful Peak District. Combining textiles and warm colours to complete a make over for the bar areas. Sectioned into areas of Banquet, Dining, high table and Lounge, providing diversity and adaptability for maximum use of space.
The Peaks hotel comprised of 27 bedrooms which required an uplift after an earlier acquisition. We were proud to assist in designing and refurbishing all rooms and the reception, including 4 individual suites, working closely with the hands on owners of the hotel.
A pleasure to work with the Duchess of Rutland on a secondary project, The Fuel Tank Restaurant, which was a tasteful conversion of the old work rooms in the Engine Yard project. Half of the room was wrapped in fixed banquet seating, with a mixture of dining, high table and lounge seating. We also worked closely with designer Gillian Arnold to create a unique print incorporating the flora from the Castle gardens in placement on the rear of the chairs.
